For over 40 years our SCWC Club members used to support the running of kayak lessons at Stafford leisure centre, but unfortunatly these have now stopped as of May 2023, due to lack of numbers.
They used to run every Sunday from 3pm through to 7:15pm, where our members supported Stafford Leisure centre to coach the next generation of paddlers. There were multiple 45min sessions covering basic beginners’ classes, intermediate, advanced & kayak polo. We also taught you how to roll in a warm pool or catch up on the skills needed to have fun playing competition kayak polo.
Stafford Canoeing and Watersports Club members are currently supporting Trentham Canoeing Club's team in the North West polo regional competitions, using Trentham's polo competition boats, paddles, helmets & BA's.
