Coracles have been used to paddle on British rivers for centuries. In the last August bank holiday of each year, our SCWC Club supports the coracle society providing safety water cover for a full fun day out one the River Severn in Telford Shropshire. Our avid club members take with them their own home-made coracles, where our SCWC Club members take part in individual or Team racing events. In 2019 we took a protype 2-person coracle to the event, and it was not fully watertight! Fun & getting wet is guaranteed for all. If you want to know more, get in touch with the Club secretary
